A brief history
Back in the 1960s, three outstanding insurance agencies were founded in Malden, Massachusetts. The late Martin J Donnelly, Jr; Richard T Mallon, Sr and James J Murphy were local businessmen who served the area working with top-notch insurance companies offering quality, innovative products. Their integrity was evident by the lasting relationships forged and numerous referrals received. During the eighties, Martin Donnelly, III joined his father, Marty at Donnelly & Reed, and Joseph Mallon joined his father, Dick at The Richard T Mallon agency. Both sons- learning from the best!! - continued to earn the trust of their customers and uphold the solid reputations of their family businesses. Over time, both Marty and Joe purchased their father's agencies, and in 2020- together- they purchased the James J Murphy agency. Today, their combined knowledge and experience, along with their commitment to exceptional customer service help to set them apart from the competition.
